Best Practices For Operators

Dozers & Excavators by Heidi Valdez Roeglin

Damage prevention is everyone's responsibility, owners, and operators.  Each has a unique responsibility that requires a trusting relationship.  Hundreds of workers are hurt and injured every year in the U.S. To assist our crews, we have created a two-sided flyer that contains some basic information on best practices for operators to carry and provides a checklist with some helpful reminders when operating dozers and excavators.  We know education has proven to be successful tool in preventing costly accidents and has helped in saving lives.  We at James A. Rogers Excavating, Inc. strive to be accountable to one another as we work and will continue to make an effort to educate and encourage our crew to keep learning and stay safe.
